A polar bear mother and her two cubs take one of many naps in October and November waiting for the ice to form on Hudson Bay near Churchill, Manitoba so that she can hunts for seals. Polar bears in this area do not have much of a food supply from July to November and depend on their fat reserves to carry them through.
